DOMINICAN REPUBLIC SURF ADVENTURES 

This Quiksilver Surf House contains 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms.  Located in the private and secure gated community of Perla Marina just 20 min from the Puerto Plata International airport and 2 miles up the road from Cabarete, this is a perfect surf getaway that minimizes travel hassles and maximizes time in the water!! Surfing is the main daily activity and starting early in the morning takes precedent over partying.  There is a great variety of waves for all skill levels with rights, lefts, reefs and sand bottom spots.
Dominican Republic Surf Adventures has that 'perfect wave' for all guests and the North coast is truly a Caribbean dream of warm water, lush scenery and empty peaks. This very special island is blessed with beautiful waterfalls, natural lakes and excellent deep sea fishing.  Canopy tours, diving, horseback riding, stand-up paddling, kiting and relaxing by the pool make for a well rounded island adventure. 

THE PRICE

$750 per person for 7 days/6 nights. Airfare additional.  September  1, 2011 - December 19, 2011
$875 per person for 7 days/6 nights. Airfare additional.  December 20, 2011 -  February 28, 2012 
$750 per person for 7 days/6 nights. Airfare additional.  March 1, 2012 - May 31, 2012

DRSURFING Academy 

DRSURFING is proud to partner with Quiksilver and Roxy, world surf industry leader, to offer a comprehensive Surf Academy at Playa Encuentro. The deluxe Beginner Packages focus on surfing fundamentals and ocean knowledge.  We believe that mastering these fundamentals are the key behind the success of our surfing guests! 

Of course we give respect where it is due, the Ocean.  The “inside” section of Playa Encuentro is ideal for beginners and second only to the world famous Waikiki, Hawaii for “user friendly” soft rolling whitewash that allows plenty of time for standing up, learning and working on your skills. 

  
ALL DRSURFING ACADEMY packages include:

• 3 meals daily with non-alcoholic beverages 
• Accommodation with tv, wi-fi, dvd, ipod dock, bbq, swimming pool and warm water shower
  * (surcharge for pickups or drop-offs in Santiago – $160 one-way; Santo Domingo – $320 one-way) 
• Personal instruction (2:1 ratio) and exceptional service from our  DRSURFING staff 
• Use of beginner board, leash, rashguard, reef booties 
• Beginner lineups to work on surf skills in a safe uncrowded environment 
• All lessons are 90 minutes long and scheduled around mid-tide  (1 lesson per day is included but you can surf as much as you want on your own at lower and higher tides) 
• Safety is our #1 priority  
• 6 night – 7 day DRSURFING Academy is $960 per person 
• Extra nights are $140 per person

THE SURF

DRsurfing runs inclusive surf tours along the North Coast for no more than 10 surfers at a time making sure you get high wave counts and personal service.  Depending on the swell and wind conditions, there are different types of waves on the North Coast for different types of surfers.  Whether you like grinding outer reefs, shacking sandbar perfection or fun sections just begging to be smacked, the North Shore of the Dominican Republic is your complete tropical surf adventure.  
Playa Encuentro boasts its consistency, and 6 different waves; 3 rights and 3 lefts.  They range from fun and rippable to fast and steep depending on tide and swell angles.

With the local surf scene centered around the wave rich Playa Encuentro, finding surfing solitude is quiet easy.  DRsurfing provides you easy access to otherwise hard to find quality waves with no crowds.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

All payments are non-refundable.  A $250 deposit is required to hold your spot.  The balance is due 60 days prior to departure. 

Exceptions..If cancelling 30 or more days prior to arrival all payments can be used as full credit at DR Surf Adventures if you travel within 6 months of the original booking date.  Subject to availability. 

If booking within 60 days prior to departure full payment is due at time of booking.

No refund will be given due to late arrival or early departure from dates booked in advance.  No refund will be given for unused transfers or meals.
