“AST Las Flores” sits on the point in Las Flores, El Salvador. This is the only property on the point with nearly 300 degree views of the ocean. The property exceeds 9 acres and offers our guests Ocean, Mountain and Jungle views from nearly every viewing point on the property. Las Flores is a small community of locals, surf camps and high end vacation homes that are just 3 minutes from the small town of El Cuco in the San Miguel providence.
Playa Las Flores defines the words “Beautiful Beach” surrounded by overgrown palm and mango trees lining the shore with its amazing dark sand, with the mirrored finish at low tides. Las Flores is not just another surf destination; it’s a complete hideaway for families, couples and friends searching for the flow of natural beauty and balance.
During your stay at AST Las Flores you can enjoy many of our service offerings such as Surf Tours, Surf Lessons, Surf and YogaRetreats, Horse Back riding, Volcano hikes, Estuary and Eco Tours and most of all friendly service. We just don’t offer package deals; we do what our guest wants to do, when you want to do it. Your trip will be completely customized from surfing to eco tours, if we can get you out of the hammocks.
Las Flores is 3 hours south of San Salvador airport, with volcanic mountain ranges the entire way keeping your mind off the drive and focused on El Salvador’s natural beauty.

AST Las Flores Accommodations
AST Las Flores sits above the wave at Las Flores Point, overlooking three right hand point breaks offering the best of Las Flores. When our guests arrive through the canopied swaying palms and walk out to the edge of the point they know they have arrived in paradise. On the south side of the property you can view the entire coastline with amazing views of Honduras and Nicaragua, in the distance.
The pool overlooking the ocean allows our guest to simply escape the Central American heat with a quick dip or relaxing time with your friends and favorite beverages. Our staff is at your service and will ensure you are comfortable maximizing your stay.
AST Las Flores will host a maximum of 20 guests in shared or private rooms so we can handle the smallest to largest groups here in Las Flores. Our private guest rooms will host 2 guests per room with shared up to 4 guests per room. All guest rooms can be customized to meet anyone’s needs or requests.
Guest rooms feature new beds, bedding and oversize pillows, and private or shared bathrooms. Three of our ocean view rooms open out to the patio where you can sit, relax and enjoy the views of surfing Las Flores. High-speed wireless Internet service is available throughout the property.
The kitchen staff will ensure you have Coffee at 5:30 A.M. with cereal, local fruits and breads, followed by a hearty breakfast after your surf. Lunch will be served in the dining area or around the pool, or packed in cooler if you choose to take a boat trip to Punta Mango. Your evening will be coupled with a happy hour Ceviche before your dinner is served. We use nothing but the freshest local foods, including catch of the day for our seafood loving guests.

This option is perfect for beginners or intermediate surfers who want to improve their surfing skills. We have an experienced surfing instructor's team that will help you learn how to catch the best waves and guide you to take the next level.
Beginners Season -
At East Coast Beginners are welcome all year round!
Most days lessons take place at the lovely beach of Las Flores, but the surf school is also completely mobile, meaning that lessons can be held at the most suitable spot up or down the coast, depending on daily surf conditions and students abilities.
With our surf lessons program, students learn about:
- Safety and ocean awareness
- How waves and swells are created
- Tide changes and conditions
- Seasons
- Wave riding
- Paddling
- Priority rules
- And all other information needed for you to practice safely this amazing sport
Surf lessons are in small groups, with a ratio of 1 instructor for 3 students maximum. This way you get the best tuition and really improve your surfing skills. All our surf instructors are well experienced with more than five years teaching and over fifteen years of surf!

THE SURF
Las Flores offers some of the best surf in El Salvador with El Cuco Beach Break, Punta Las Flores, La Ventana, Lucky Man, La Vaca, Playa Negras, Punta Bongo, Punta Mango and Toro De Oro. There are even some secret spots we can introduce with the right swell and weather conditions so there are plenty of uncrowded waves in the East of El Salvador, although most surf the main attractions Punta Las Flores and Punta Mango. Most surf spots are accessible by car, but you must have an operator with boat access to hit Punta Mango and other breaks we will keep between us.
The best season for beginners is November to March, with the season starting with larger surf mid March to October. Although during the high season the surf is larger, there are several surf spots we can take beginners so we offer surf lessons and surf schools year round.
Las Flores can offer a crowd at times during peak season, but with all the mentioned surf spots below we can assure you a great surf tour and memories of a lifetime. Our surf tours offer 4x4 and boat access to all breaks so we always have the logistics covered. Our boat charters can be booked anytime during the day so our guest can choose when they want to surf and where.
Surfing Las Flores is an amazing experience, the wave is so fun and rip able even the youngest of surfers will have the time of their lives. AST Las Flores offers 'Grom Camps' and one week surfing Las Flores catapults their skills in the water, taking home accelerated surfing improvements.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Any cancellation made by a client must be received in writing. The following cancellation fees apply:
1. If the written cancellation is received by the company not later than 60 days prior to the departure the complete deposit is non-refundable
2. If the written cancellation is received by the company after 60 days but no less than 30 days prior to departure, the completed deposit is non-refundable and a 50% cancellation fee applies to all other monies received by the company. Yacht charter bookings are subject to a 100% cancelation penalty on the charter portion of the tour when cancelled inside of 80 days.
3. If the written cancellation is received by the company within 30 days for the departure date, the company shall not be obliged to refund any monies whatsoever.
4. Refunds are not available for any tours, accommodations or any other travel service not utilized.
Amendments to individual itineraries will be made on notification from the client if possible within the rules and conditions of the principals. A fee of $30.00 per amendment will be charged to cover administrative costs, in addition to any charges levied by the principals. An amendment constitutes a charge to an existing booking.

- Airport Transfers $125.00 each way for non Surf Tour Package
- Surf Guide and Surf Transfers per day: Minimum 90.00 or 35.00 per person “Non Surf Tour Guests”
- Room by Night is Room Only, No Surf Transfers, No Boat Trips, No Meals but can be purchased
- Groups must arrive within a hour of each other, if not an additional airport transfer fee of $125.00 will be added
