The swell was in all 10 days we were in Nicaragua.  The accommodations were good.  Marcos and Marihelia were wonderful hosts and worked very hard.  I will get some pictures on facebook as soon as possible.  Thank you for everything. - Dave H.

Offshore winds held out till noonish.  A couple times it was an early blow out, but some days it didn't blow until 4pm.  2-4 go outs per day, 80 degree water, 90+ degree air.  Great accommodations.  The jewel of the trip was the cook Marihelia.  She was hard at work all day every day.  Great food, clean house, very peaceful.  I am happy to say I surfed until I couldn't paddle any more.  Next time I am planning to take bigger boards just due to the currents and length of the paddle.  La Barra is a great wave and I would love to see it really on fire.  Power, barrel sections, long shoulders, loved it! -  Ross Y.

I am begrudingly back at work for the first day since we got back!  We had a FABULOUS time and are already talking about the next trip!  It was the perfect trip for our honeymoon and we really had a great time.  Lots of travel and we are still recovering from the travel time.  We have some great video of Beeker and Kitty. Waves were unreal.  We caught overhead, clean point break surf every day.  Surfed 2-3 sessions a day.  The food was unreal, the surf camp, restaurant and staff were all killer too.  We're super stoked!  The last day, Dave and I surfed El Cocal.  2'+ overhead and oil glass for 3 hours with only 3 other guys in the lineup - crazy!  Jimmy was awesome too.  Super cool guy, really nice and always willing to surf and take us wherever.  He took us out to dinner for pupusas with his family one night!  He rips too!  Thanks for everything you did in getting this put together. Hi Logan! The trip was wonderful!  The weather definitely could have been nicer but other than that it was great!  The house was amazing!  All the help were wonderful!  Marta was such an amazing cook!  I wished I could have her come live with me!  I will post something on facebook in the next few days.  -  Melanie M.

The crew under Antonio (Checko, Rosario, etc) did an amazing job.  Place was run well, super clean, food was insane.  They even rescued some Floridian longboarders from the rocks. And we love the new palapa viewing deck by the pool!  Mike M.

Thanks for the follow up. The trip was absolutely incredible! I had the time of my life. We had a great experience, and I am sure I speak for everyone when I say that.I had the best wipeout of the trip, I am sure you will hear about it a couple of times as these emails come back. We were surfing 15 foot Thunders and I got caught way inside, broke my board in half, and escaped with just enough of my wits about me to live to tell the tale. Thanks for the help in getting it all set up! The trip was great; excellent waves, food and the villa staff took great care of us.  We met very nice people at the surf camp and there were usually only several people in the line-up.  My son and I felt very safe and we certainly would make the trip again.  We lost the AC one night because a truck ran into the electric pole on the main road but a fan worked with the generator.  Thank you for all your help.Emil T.

The surf has been great for the 3 weeks that I've been down here. The smallest it has been is head high. The first swell at the end of May was DOH and then some. Kinda got my ass kicked!! Didn't expect for the wave to have that much water in it. Everyone at Punta Roca was great - Bob, Jimmy, Marta, Leyden & Emilio (Muro). Thanks again for everything.     Adios & Aloha, David

The trip was fantastic. We scored good uncrowded waves the guide was always right on the money. The food was good and the service was top noch. The only thing was the flying time is a killer. I will get back to with more info. I will probably go on another trip next year. Roberto.

If you surf, they’ll take you to a variety of epic beach and reef breaks that offer powerful waves that barrel left and right. We were fortunate to have an underwater camera and video to be able to capture not only the surfing but the clear blue water and lush green landscapes that surround every beach. Personally, it was a very special getaway for all of us, but there was no doubt that our kids experienced a trip of a lifetime and learned so many positive lessons on life from Scott and his staff. To Scott, Matt and Jaime, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for a truly magical experience. You are to be commended for all that you do to make your guests feel special. Just wanted to check in and wish you a Merry Christmas from el Custodio.  We are having a wonderful family vacation and you were right that the photos did not do this place justice.  Our cooks, Ismael, the gardeners, and everyone else down here have been incredibly warm and hospitable.  I'm sure I've gained 5 lbs this week!  Last night one of the cooks invited us to Zacualpa to watch the local Nativity reenactment with her family (her little brother was the star of the show).  I'll send you a few photos highlighting our last few days down here in paradise.  Thanks again for all your efforts to ensure our amazing vacation.Felize Navidad!Weston

We had a blast, thank you…the place was really incredible…surf was ok but for the most part we surfed alone…was more of a family trip so my wife and I got to surf together which was nice. We killed it at K59.  What a awesome spot, people and waves. We had an awesome time on our 3rd annual Ryan’s Spring Break trip with 7 pals and caught some big waves! Thursday was double OH + and no locals would go out.  We did and caught some very memorable waves, thanks to you. Take care.  Thanks to all the guys for joining.  Best Regards,Kurt

Thanks for the welcome home!We had a good trip. Surf was best the first two days. 2’-4’ SSW with an occasional set, water temp was 80+ degrees little to no wind until mid afternoon. Jimmy Rotherham picked us up and got us right into some fun surf. It was pretty much what we were looking for, nothing too big or gnarly. Just super fun! No one got hurt, although a few of us dealt with the CAT (Central American Tummy). The rest of the trip was a morning session with other entertainment (ruins, museum, Gift shopping, Siestas) every day. Surf dropped a bit on the weekend then stayed 2’-4’ and a little weaker the rest of the time. Thanks for the help in getting us out of the cold Cali waters!  Blessings,Ross
