Picking up swell from the same storms as neighboring Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic is a different experience than Puerto Rico.  There is no localism and visiting surfers have the chance to explore and get waves all alone! The North Coast of the Dominican Republic is less than a 2hr flight from Miami and under 4hrs from New York.  Our surf house is a 30minute ride from the international airport of Puerto Plata.  

There are four world class reef breaks, the Lefthander is a short paddle from the beach. The fat right-handers across the bay from Nihiwatu and the "Sunset" style rights and lefts on the next point can be accessed by boat or an hour truck ride. There is also a right hand reef break at the end of the beach that breaks on small days, it's about a half hour walk.  A surf vacation at Nihiwatu is like no other surf package in the world. 

Located on a private island situated inside the Great Sea Reef, off the north coast of Vanua Levu in the Fiji Islands. From Nadi Airport it's only a one hour flight by seaplane to the Island, where you will step ashore to the romance and adventure of the South Pacific for the surf vacation of a lifetime. The Great Surf Reef is home to numerous reef passes and incredible waves with very few surfers other surfers.  

Red Frog Bungalows are located steps away from Red Frog Beach. It's the most gorgeous beach in Bocas Del Toro.  You have it all to yourself, except when other people come for the day.  Fortunately for you, they can't stay long because Red Frog Bungalows are the only nightly accomodations available providing surf packages that give you access to all the best breaks in the area.
