HEADS UP

Panama is a friendly country, so entry and exit requirements are pretty painless for U.S. citizens. No visa is needed for your standard 1-2 week trip, but a passport is required.

Make sure your passport has at least 6 months validity remaining on it from the date of your departure out of Panama.

For those of you planning on bring the video camera, unless you want to weight yourself down with a ton of batteries, get yourself an adaptor.
